WWII Unit Training Weekend
Hosted at Auglaize Village – Defiance, Ohio
November 14th–16th, 2025
Event Overview:
Join us for Axis & Allies: United Front, an immersive WWII training weekend at historic Auglaize Village in Defiance, Ohio. This 120-acre living history site offers the perfect mix of terrain, infrastructure, and atmosphere to host a unit-focused training experience unlike any other. Whether your group needs to drill tactics, rehearse maneuvers, or simply bond in a historic setting—this weekend was built for you.
Our Mission:
Axis & Allies: United Front is a unit-focused training experience designed by reenactors, for reenactors. We want your feedback, your input, and your leadership. Our goal is to support your unit’s growth and give you the tools, space, and time to achieve your training objectives.
Key Features:
🟤 Solo Unit Field Training Time
Units will have designated time for autonomous training across diverse landscapes, including:
Wooded areas
Open fields
A river and natural ditches
Railroad track and bridge
A natural fort-style embankment
Heated buildings for overnight boarding
🟤 Heated Classroom Learning
Training isn’t just in the field. Each unit will have solo access to the on-site schoolhouse for classroom sessions, historical briefings, or group development. This allows you to train your unit your way, at your own pace.
🟤 Optional Training Syllabus
We will provide a flexible sample syllabus that your unit may use—or not. This event is built around your goals. We’re here to support, not control.
🟤 Inter-Unit Social Time
Time is set aside for units to meet, network, and share knowledge. Strengthen your reenacting relationships and grow our living history community.
🟤 Final Field Exercise: Red vs Blue
On the final day, all units are invited to participate in a Red vs Blue squad-based tactical exercise. Apply what you’ve practiced in a fun and challenging engagement that promotes teamwork, movement, and quick thinking.
Registration & Cost:
Early Bird Rate: $15 per person (pre-register by November 12)
At-the-Door Rate: $20 per person
Fee covers site rental, insurance, heated buildings, and event support.
